Last night, the CFO RoundTable was proud to host its 2nd Annual Women’s Leadership Event at the offices of KPMG in Boston.
Joined by over 50 of our local senior financial executive members, we enjoyed an evening of networking while also experiencing our first chocolate and wine tasting led by Suzanne Oakley of Experience Chocolate.
The buzz was certainly palpable and the atmostphere charged at last night’s event. Many of our members were lucky enough to attend one of Sheryl Sandberg’s talks hosted throughout Boston this week while promoting her new book, Lean In. We were also delighted to welcome Beth Kurth, President, Boston Women in Finance, and Malli Gero, Executive Director, 2020 Women on Boards, as special guests for the evening, and excellent go-to resources for those members who are interested in joining female executive groups in the Boston area.
We also took a moment to thank our members for their continued support and participation with the CFO RoundTable. One of our proudest points of distinction is that our membership is roughly equal in gender, and it is our goal to continue to support an open and nurturing environment where all financial leaders, regardless of their gender or background, feel welcome to connect, engage and learn from their peers.
Finally, a special thank you to our gracious host and sponsor, KPMG, for all of their support in making last night’s event a complete success!
Planning for our 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership event is already underway. Stay tuned!
