Asset Fraud Trading Room Experiment
Tues October 8, 2013 @ Bentley University’s Financial Trading Room

Bentley University is seeking a group of 40 CFOs, Controllers and financial managers to participate in a unique (and free) 90 minute program looking at asset fraud.   The program will be held in their Financial Trading Room,  a state-of-the-art teaching and research center located in the Smith Academic Technology Center at Bentley University.  As the centerpiece of the university’s Hughey Center for Financial Services, the Trading Room provides firsthand exposure to financial concepts such as trading, portfolio construction, corporate finance concepts, and risk management. The 3,500 square-foot facility equipped with 60 Hewlett Packard XW4600 workstations — each with a dual 19″ HP flat panel display — and twenty four Bloomberg terminals. Each workstation is equipped with real-time data and the leading financial technologies.  Participants will work at the terminal with the data feeds which include Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Palisade Statistical Suite and others. 

This will be an active session in which participants will receive instruction and then assigned trading roles for an active trading session.   You will be using active data feeds in a simulated exercise to test behavioral reactions to different financial events.   This is an unusual opportunity that you won’t want to miss.  Participation is limited to 40 registrants.
