Nearly a quarter of all managers in major corporations enter new leadership roles each year. Whether their assignments involve leading a new project, group, or taking over a company as CEO, they face very similar challenges–and risks–in those critical first months on the job. How new leaders manage their transitions can make all the difference between success and failure.

The book, The First 90 Days, has sustained a steady presence on various international Best Sellers Lists for more than 10 years. The First 90 Days author Michael Watkins, developed proven strategies for moving successfully into a new role at any point in one’s career.  Shawna Slack, Co-Founder and CEO of Genesis Advisers, is the exclusive provider of First 90 Days programs and coaching.  She will moderate our panel of seasoned leaders through the most essential concepts covered in Watkins´ book.  This program will highlight the pivotal aspects of any transition, from mental preparation to forging the right alliances to securing critical early wins. Through vivid examples of success and failure at all levels, Slack and the panel will identify the most common pitfalls new leaders encounter and deliver tools and strategies for how to avoid them.
