We’re only halfway through 2017 and it’s already been a great year of growth for us with plenty of innovative program content and outstanding networking opportunities – and, of course,  the anticipation of four new chapters launching in September.   Although our members continue to be the heartbeat of our organization, it is also the talent that we have employed from within that helps us to live up to our reputation as the primary “go to” resource for CFOs and senior financial executives.  WeEmpowerCFOsCropped.jpgWith this philosophy in mind, we are pleased to announce the following internal promotions: Angela Tise to Membership Chair, John Gimpert to Program Chair, and Caroline Boyce to Marketing Operations Manager

angela_tise-749405-edited.jpgIn addition to serving as our Northeast Regional Director, Angela will now be focusing on improving and insuring overall membership quality, concentrating her efforts on everything from initial outreach to special recognitions.  She will also be taking the lead on our monthly members-only calls while continuing to provide her remarkable level of excellence and attention to detail to our northeast chapters.  Angela began her career as a Global Marketing Liaison at Unilever Cosmetics Corporation.  She was also the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Panasonic and, more recently, was the Manager of Membership Services for FEI.

jgimpert2.pngEvolving from his role as Chicago Area Director, John will ensure continued program quality and innovation on a national level.  Aside from building upon our existing content, he will be working on fresh approaches to delivering our overall goal of “empowering CFOs”.   As a former partner for Deloitte’s Finance Transformation practice, John has more than 35 years of experience in the industry and is best known for his expertise in finance strategies, process improvements, and reporting practices.

carolineboyce.jpgDrawing from her vast experience as Marketing Director for our Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. chapters, Caroline will utilize her talents to serve as our Marketing Operations Manager, beginning on July 1. In addition to being a team player for all chapters on a national level, she will continue as Boston Marketing Director and serve as a resource for our Philadelphia programs.

“I am beyond thrilled that our team continues to grow and evolve,” said CFO Leadership Council President Becky Blackler,  “Angela, John, and Caroline are outstanding, and I’m excited for the continued improvements they’ll bring to our member experience.”

And, our growth doesn’t stop here! Stay tuned for further details on the September launching of our newest chapters:  Charlotte, Detroit, San Francisco, and the Silicon Valley. Interested in joining our team? Take a look at our Careers page for further details on open positions in these cities.
