While The CFO Leadership Council offers a wide array of benefits and connections, in my opinion, one of the best things we do is come together to help our local community.

For years, our annual conference has partnered with local non-profits that make a direct and positive impact on the community in which we live and work. And for the past few years, we’ve chosen to partner with Make-A-Wish Massachusetts & Rhode Island to grant wishes for local families in need.

Why Make-A-Wish MA & RI?

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children, between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 years old, with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. For a child with a life-threatening medical condition, a wish granted brings with it a profound moment of joy: the moment a child first comes face-to-face with a favorite celebrity; arrives at a tropical destination; or experiences a lifelong dream of singing on stage.

For years, we’ve heard stories of families who have been touched by this amazing organization, and it is truly an honor and a privilege to partner with them to bring a moment of peace and happiness for those families who desperately need it.

How We Help

Each year, we spend six months soliciting member donations for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Any dollar amount is welcome and encouraged, as even the smallest number can offer brighter horizons ahead for youngsters whose lives are filled with fear and uncertainty.

With your help and our combined contributions, we can all get together to exceed last year’s amazing donation of $20,000 and lift the spirits of two children by making their wishes come true.

Last year, as a community, we were able to grant the following wishes:

An Enchanted Adventure for Janie
