Message to The CFO Leadership Council Community from Jack McCullough on the Coronavirus
(March 12, 2020) The CFO Leadership Council (CFOLC) offers our support to all those affected by the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) around the world. Our small part in all this is to demonstrate responsibility and safety for our CFO Leadership Council community – our members, sponsors, & staff. Your safety will always be our highest priority. We are monitoring this situation very carefully and will honor all decisions made by health experts at the global, national & state levels.
We appreciate your commitment to CFOLC and realize that for many, our events bring an opportunity for professional development and connection. Our team remains focused on delivering programs throughout 2020 in the best & safest way possible. Since the CFOLC team is 100% virtual, we have online platforms in place to keep our community connected. Several of our chapters have made the decision to move our live chapter programs to a virtual platform. I’m proud to report they hosted them successfully and with the same quality our community has grown to rely on. Our chapter leadership teams will give this option serious consideration on a case-by-case basis.
We continue to assess the implications the outbreak may have on our annual conference, The CFO Masterclass, scheduled for May 11-12, 2020. At this point, the program is proceeding as planned. We are also in discussion with representatives from MIT Sloan about the CFO Accelerator, and they also plan to move forward with its original date. We will continue to monitor and update you all the moment anything changes.
On behalf of the entire CFO Leadership Council team, I appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together through this global situation. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions..
