The CFOLC Emerging Leaders Program

WHAT IS THE EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM?

The CFO Leadership Council created the Emerging Leaders program to recognize, honor, and mentor budding financial professionals who have potential to become “Rockstar CFOs”.   This is a member-driven initiative, as many of the veteran members of the Council wanted to share the benefits of their experience and wisdom with the next generation of CFOs.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE AN EMERGING LEADER?

Recipients of this award are early-career finance and accounting professionals including:  Controllers, VPs of Finance, and newly minted CFOs, as well as other financial professionals with similar responsibilities.*Current & former members of the CFO Leadership Council are NOT eligible for nomination.

WHO CAN NOMINATE AN EMERGING LEADER?

Steering Committee members, Sponsors, and employees of the CFO Leadership Council are encouraged to nominate candidates within their professional network.

HOW ARE CANDIDATES CHOSEN?

The Emerging Leadership team reviews each nomination for the candidate’s commitment to growth, potential for advancement, the ability to put learning to work, and their commitment to community service.

This program will enable us to fulfill our mission of Empowering CFOs, while also helping you to strengthen relationships with these future leaders.  We are confident that this program will develop a cohort of financial leaders with the strategic, leadership and technical skills to lead their organizations.
