Jessica Gelman is an experienced CEO, industry leader, and entrepreneur with a data-driven, customer-centric approach to innovation.  She is the CEO of Kraft Analytics Group (KAGR), a technology and services company that helps sports & entertainment organizations get analytics right – increasing value and impact along the way.  KAGR’s data management platform, analytics and strategic services is driving industry redefinition through data and technology.  KAGR’s clients are across all major US professional leagues, colleges, industry movers and in 2021, partnered with J.P. Morgan Private Bank.  

Prior to KAGR’s creation in 2016, Jessica joined the Kraft Family in 2002 working for the sports properties (New England Patriot, Gillette Stadium and New England Revolution) where she led business operations, marketing, & strategy for Kraft Sports & Entertainment.

Jessica co-founded and continues to co-chair the highly regarded MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, the first and largest analytically focused sports conference. Previous speakers have included President Barack Obama, Adam Silver, Steve Ballmer, Nate Silver, and many other sports and analytics luminaries. 

Jessica has received recognition for her leadership and innovation, including the 2014 Sports Business Journal “Forty under 40” which honors the most promising young executives in sports business under the age of 40 and in 2012 Sports Business Journal’s “Game Changers,” which honors women who are leading and innovating in sports business. 

Jessica earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, cum laude from Harvard College. While at Harvard, she was selected as Harvard Female Athlete of the Year and in 2018 was honored as an Ivy League Legend of Basketball.  She is an elected board member of the Harvard Varsity Club. Additionally, she is a board member for Peace Players International and Shooting Touch. 

Gelman and her wife have two sons and reside in the greater Boston area.

David Meline

As Chief Financial Officer, David Meline oversees financial, business development and business services functions at Moderna.

Mr. Meline previously served as Chief Financial Officer and EVP at Amgen from 2014 through 2019. At Amgen, he was responsible for all finance, information systems and global business services activities across 100 countries. In this role, Mr. Meline led enterprise-wide transformation while increasing growth and productivity and reducing development cycle time. Prior to Amgen, Mr. Meline spent six years at 3M Company, where he most recently served as CFO and Senior Vice President and was responsible for all 3M financial activities across 70 countries of operation. Previously, Mr. Meline held numerous leadership positions at General Motors, including Vice President and CFO for GM North America. During his tenure at GM, Mr. Meline lived and worked on five continents.

Mr. Meline received his Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago, his Master of Science in economics from the London School of Economics and his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.

Erin L Scott is a Senior Lecturer in Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management.  

Scott’s work focuses on uncertainty and strategic development in early-stage ventures. Most recently, her work was featured in the Harvard Business Review, Management Science, and Strategy Science. At MIT Sloan, she teaches Entrepreneurial Founding & Teams, Entrepreneurial Strategy, as well as assorted MBA entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategy electives. In addition, Scott mentors MIT startups and consults for ventures within the broader ecosystem.

Scott holds a BE and an MBA-MS in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and Washington University in St. Louis, respectively. A recipient of the Kauffman Dissertation Fellowship, she earned her PhD in strategy from Washington University in St. Louis. Scott then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the National Bureau of Economic Research’s Innovation Policy and the Economy Group. She began her academic career at the National University of Singapore. 

Paul Mende

Paul Mende is a Senior Lecturer in the Finance Group at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mende co-founded, co-owned, and served as director of research from 2002 to 2010 for Fort Hill Capital Management, LLC, a hedge fund specializing in equity derivatives and dedicated to quantitative research, trading, and risk management. Fort Hill actively participated in the launch and success of Bay Hill Fund LP and Bay Hill Capital Management LLC in 2007 as a multi-strategy volatility hedge fund. In 2004, Fort Hill launched Absolute Strategies Fund and Absolute Investment Advisers LLC as an innovative absolute-return fund-of-funds structured as a Securities and Exchange Commission registered mutual fund, with daily liquidity for investors and full position-level transparency from managers.

Mende previously held positions as director of the Money Management & Trading Group at Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc., and as an analyst in the Quantitative Strategies Group at MDT Advisers, Inc. He also held positions as an assistant professor of physics at Brown University and as a research associate at the Center for Theoretical Physics and the Department of Mathematics at MIT.

Mende holds an AB in physics from Harvard University and a PhD in physics from Princeton University.

Danielle Li

Danielle Li is an Associate Professor of Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the MIT Sloan School of Management.  Her research uses data analytics to study how organizations evaluate ideas and projects, with a focus on R&D investments in the life sciences.  Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as Science and the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and has been covered in media outlets such as the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.  In addition, she sits on the advisory council of the National Institute for General Medical Sciences at the National Institutes of Health.  She holds a Ph.D. in economics from MIT and an A.B in mathematics from Harvard University.

At AcctTwo, Rauli led Marketing, Sales and Customer Success.  Prior to AcctTwo, Rauli served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at major nonprofit (The Houston, Zoo, The Curtis Institute of Music, The Houston Symphony, and The Houston Grand Opera) and for-profit (Charles Schwab, and Investment Advisor Paul Comstock Partners) organizations, where he oversaw and managed budgets ranging from $20M to $65M.  

Rauli is based in Houston, Texas.  He has an awesome family that has grown up too quickly.  He holds an MBA from Rice University.

Brian works closely with IT, finance and accounting, outside consultants for SOX compliance, external auditors and all levels throughout the corporation to ensure a comprehensive implementation with proper controls. Brian has successfully implemented new financial systems and improve ways of capturing, controlling and using information to enable the end users and business owners to make better business decisions.

He has his Six Sigma Green Belt certification and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from the Gordon College.

Melissa Hurrington is a respected Finance and Business Professional with a seasoned career across multiple industries.    She is a servant leader who sees beyond the numbers and instead sees the impact people make on a business.   Aside from her husband and two children, nothing makes Melissa more proud than watching her team’s individual growth under her leadership.   

Melissa has been with Premier Claims from almost the beginning and has contributed greatly to the exponential growth they have experienced in recent years.  Prior to joining Premier Claims, She has taken on challenging roles in Public Accounting, a Publicly traded company in the technology industry, a nationwide non-profit company where she still serves on the Human Rights Board, and has also spent time in the Hospitality industry managing the finances of events all over the country.   

Melissa believes in showing up as the best version of yourself every day.  Learning and growing is a necessity in both her personal and professional life.  Her belief in pushing yourself to be 1% Better has become an unofficial motto of the entire team at Premier Claims.
