Indianapolis: Economic Outlook for 2027

January 28, 2027 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am EST

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) continue to navigate a complex economic landscape shaped by shifting policy rates, a resilient yet evolving labor market, fluctuating GDP growth, and persistent inflationary pressures. This program explores how these dynamics—along with Federal Reserve policy decisions, tariffs, and broader global economic trends—impact corporate strategy, investment decisions, and operational performance.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Interpret the Economic Landscape: Understand the interplay between policy rates, inflation, GDP growth, and the labor market—and their implications for corporate finance and planning.
  • Assess Federal Reserve and Policy Impacts: Evaluate how Federal Reserve actions and fiscal policy shifts influence borrowing costs, capital allocation, and risk management.
  • Monitor Global and Trade Dynamics: Explore how tariffs, global supply chain disruptions, and international growth outlooks affect pricing, sourcing, and competitiveness.
  • Communicate Strategically with Stakeholders: Effectively convey financial outlooks and strategy adjustments to investors, employees, and boards during uncertain periods.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Pinpoint areas for expansion and differentiation even as macroeconomic headwinds challenge traditional growth models.
