Jack McCullough
President & Founder

Boston

With the vision of providing world class professional development programs and networking events for chief financial officers, Jack founded The CFO Leadership Council in 2006.  Under his leadership, the organization achieved national recognition.  Formerly, Jack was the Director of KPMG’s Global Innovation Center, where he worked with early-stage investors, entrepreneurs, CFOs, and other members of the venture community.  Prior to KPMG, he served as a CFO for 26 startups, raising more than $200 million in capital. In addition, Jack is the visionary behind the MIT Sloan CFO Summit, which has been recognized as the world’s most influential conference for financial leaders.

As a former chief financial officer, entrepreneur, and recognized expert on financial matters, Jack can empathize with the challenges that corporate leaders face in growing today’s businesses. In addition to developing a venture capital course for Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan MBA candidates, he has been interviewed by Bloomberg, CNN, and Fox Business Network and quoted by the Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine, Treasury and Risk Management, the Boston Business Journal, and Business Finance Magazine.

Jack holds an undergraduate degree from Suffolk University and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He was a Great Dome Award recipient from MIT in 2018.

RD Whitney
Chief Operating Officer

Omaha

RD is the Chief Community Officer at The Chief Executive Group (CEG) and the Chief Operating Officer for The CFO Leadership Council (a CEG Community). He has been brought in to grow the CFO Leadership Council and expand valued membership benefits for the community. In a prior roll, RD led the rapid transformation, growth, and acquisition of The Institute of Finance and Management (IOFM), along with the subsequent merger with the Financial Operations Network. For the past 32 years RD has focused on developing communities that provide a “home” to professionals by job title and functional expertise. These networks help to educate and connect buyers and sellers through the gravity of professional training, events, peer learning and data. RD has successfully developed communities in multiple sectors through conferences, trade shows, online training, virtual events, industry award programs, SAAS businesses, research, databases, validation, publishing, peer learning, online marketplaces, certification programs and membership groups. RD has an impressive track record of building and growing business community assets and recurring benefits to quickly realize new value for members, solution providers and investors. 

Kristin Todd
Vice President of Marketing

Kristin Todd is a modern leader who has triumphed in business development, partner relations, & marketing communications.  She thrives in collaborative, challenging environments in a variety of industries – technology, healthcare, finance, and telecom. Her most recent initiatives included international expansion, a successful virtual product launch, several re-brandings, and countless national conferences.  Her comfort in connecting with people and building meaningful relationships are strengths that she brings to every opportunity. 

In her current role as Vice President of Marketing for The CFO Leadership Council, Kristin spearheads all of CFO Leadership Council’s global brand & communication efforts, leading a virtual team in the US & Canada. As an integral part of the growth team, she helped with CFOLC’s explosive growth taking their flagship stand alone Boston chapter on the road now representing 28 locations. 

She is currently on the Organizing Committee for the MIT CFO Summit, a Board Member for the Boston Women in Finance & mentor for a small group of young professional women in Boston. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration focused in Business, Minor in Marketing from University of Massachusetts at Amherst – Isenberg School of Management. 

Kristin is an active New Englander who loves snow & sun equally.  She loves to travel, sing, cook & garden.  Kristin is an avid sports fan and calls Foxboro MA home along with her husband Joe & two kids. 

Karyn Egeland

She is highly accomplished at the art of building lasting relationships

In her current role on the CFOLC executive team, Karyn is working with the thought leaders we partner with to fulfill our mission of empowering CFOs.  She is strengthening the relationships we have with our partners, not only for the financial support that they bring, but also for expertise they can bring to our members.

Angela Tise
Executive Director

As a leader in the marketing efforts of our northeast region, Angela is an experienced manager who strives to improve and insure overall membership quality. In addition, on a national level, she supports our financial executives with our uniquely designed members-only Problem Solving Forums and Ask The Expert calls.

Angela began her career at Unilever Cosmetics Corporation as a Global Marketing Liaison, where she was responsible for the sales aids and advertising of more than 35 brands.  She was also the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Panasonic and, most recently, Manager of Membership Services for FEI.

Angela received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Arts degree in Education at Montclair State University.

Jennifer Langley 
Regional Director 

Atlanta | Charlotte | Raleigh | South Florida | Nashville | Jacksonville

Jennifer launched the Southeast Region for The CFO Leadership Council including establishing Chapters in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Nashville, South Florida & Raleigh. She is leading the association’s expansion into other Southeastern cities. With her seasoned team of marketing and event professionals, she manages the membership growth of the Southeast, produces high-level educational programs for CFOs, invites and coordinates speakers, secures and retains corporate sponsors, manages local board members/meetings, and manages marketing, communications, online presence, and social media for the Southeast.

With her vast background in conference planning, team management, board development, and intrinsic knowledge of CFO education though her work with CFOLC, Jennifer was selected to Chair the 2019 and 2020 CFO WEEK initiative with management and oversight of the two-day CFO Leadership Conference and MIT Sloan CFO Accelerator  – a joint collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management. 

Jennifer launched her company, 
JL Events & Association Management based in Atlanta, GA over 20 years ago with a focus on association management for member organizations and corporate event / conference planning.  She has produced events featuring President Jimmy Carter, First Lady of the United States, Mrs. Rosalynn Carter, Governor Nathan Deal, Rep. Stacey Abrams, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Dan Cathy, the late Charles Krauthammer, and numerous other corporate and government dignitaries.  Notable association clients have included Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), International Women’s Forum (IWF), The CFO Leadership Council (CFOLC), Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association (GAPABA), International Women’s Forum (IWF Georgia) as well as numerous other distinguished non-profit and corporate clients. 

Jennifer graduated in 1991 with a BBA in Risk Management from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and began her career as Communications and Crisis Manager for The Coca-Cola Company.  

Stuart Pasternak

Stuart is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and an experienced financial executive with advising executives, owners and boards on strategic planning, performance management, accounting and financial management, treasury, project/critical event management, human capital and cross-border transitions to ensure that actions taken are realistic, achievable, foster long-term development and mitigates risks.

He engages people with business opportunities in fiscal control, tightening costs, increasing ROI, fortifying processes, and accountability, optimizing governance and generating positive financial results.

His experience includes working as a CFO for both public and owner-managed enterprises. He has testified as a financial expert at the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, defending corporations with the Canadian Revenue Agency and the Department of Justice, negotiating with financial institutions and government agencies, and implemented business process automation, best practices and internal controls.

Stuart is a member of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Canada and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in the Fundamentals in Cash Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Stacy Hall 
Regional Director

Orange County | San Francisco | Los Angeles | San Diego | Silicon Valley

With more than twenty years of marketing and management experience, Stacy oversees the Southern California chapters which include Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. She helped open these chapters over three years ago. Her specialties include providing marketing, communications, and event management while working closely with the steering committees, members, and sponsors to provide timely and relevant programing for CFOs.

Prior to the CFO Leadership Council, Stacy worked in marketing and project management on a wide range of products and services including consumer goods, food/restaurants, cosmetics, toys, stationery, and financial services. An expert in developing overall marketing and brand strategies with a focus on ROI as well as competitive analysis. This experience includes online, social media, print, radio and television advertising.

Stacy has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Mary Christensen
Regional Director

Mary has been working in the association management and the events business for over 12 years. Her experience ranges from board support, membership engagement, event planning and execution, sponsorship, and marketing. Previously, she worked in the wireless technology industry for 10 years.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St Cloud State University with a major in Speech Communications and a double minor in Intercultural Communications and Human Relations. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, travel, hike and read.

Stephanie Davis
Regional Director

Houston | Austin | Dallas

With more than a decade in membership sales and engagement, most recently as a corporate director in the private club industry, Stephanie Davis brings innovation and expertise to the CFO Leadership Council. Stephanie led the nationwide division for NCAA Stadium Clubs in sales, retention, and experience with more than 10,000 members.  Prior to working in private clubs, Stephanie spent her career in sales and leadership positions, including a handful of leading wineries across the Northwest and renowned fine dining establishments.  Creating intentional connections is a passion, on and off the clock, as an advisor to several non-profits in her local community.

Born and raised in DFW, with a slight detour to four other states, she has called Woodway, TX home for the last five years with her husband, two young children and a chocolate Labrador. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new destinations and immersing herself in new cultures. Aside from being an oenophile (wine lover), she is also a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
